Josh is a former teacher, Marine, and the proud owner of Shadetree Gardens. As a teacher and Marine, he developed a unique set of leadership and management skills that have enabled him to build his dream at Shadetree Gardens. His areas of expertise include operational planning, operational implementation, supply chain management, organizational structure, organizational efficiency, project management, and team management.
His passion for helping people and organizations is seen in the way he works with the community, non-profit organizations, team, clients, and family. The genesis of Shadetree Gardens was born out of a negative personal experience that he is determined to prevent others from experiencing.
Josh graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministries. He will be attending USC’s Marshall School of Business to obtain a Master of Business for Veterans in 2020. Josh lives in South Orange County with his wife Amanda, their daughter Harper and lovable pitbull Hank. In Josh’s spare time – what spare time he says – you will find him golfing, working out, volunteering for The Honor Foundation, serving as a nanny to Harper (lol), remodeling his home, or playing fetch with Hank.
Debbie is an event planning professional with over 20 years of experience in all aspects of event planning and management. Her areas of expertise include large scale corporate events, multi-site events, tradeshows, galas, fundraisers, social events (including weddings), and golf tournaments.
She possesses uncanny communication skills and a demonstrated ability to build strong professional relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and clients. Debbie has a long history of success with experience leading public relations, special events, communications, and business development functions.
A San Diego native, Debbie is a 1997 graduate of California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Public Relations. Debbie loves giving back to her community and volunteers for several non-profits and charitable organizations. A food and wine enthusiast, she and her husband Doug have two rescue cats – Rufus and Oreo. Debbie and her husband Doug, who reside in Rancho Bernardo, spend a considerable amount of time their families and their two adorable Cats Rufus and Oreo.
Autumn is a Washington State born and raised gal and is from a fun-loving family of six. She grew up on a beautiful, rustic farm that had tons of animals. Aside from adoring her big family, Autumn loves animals, nature, and photography. A 2019 graduate from Bonney Lake High School in Washington State, Autumn was a member of the Associated Student Body (ASB), where she helped plan and set up many events throughout the school year.
She is also a big fan of court volleyball and lettered in it in high school. Autumn is currently attending San Diego Mesa College and plans to transfer to San Diego State University in Fall 2022. Her major is Hospitality & Tourism Management. Autumn’s love for the meetings and events industry shows and she is so excited to be a part of the Shadetree Gardens team.
